CK Interstate in partnership with Hire A Box provides storage boxes and moving boxes on a hire or purchase basis. Our boxes are durable and easy to assemble. We can deliver your packing boxes same day if you give us a call. Alternatively, book online for a next day delivery for all your moving and packaging goods. Keep your moving simple by using our 3 standard types of boxes, book cartons, tea chests and porta robes.

Large Box

For lighter, bulkier items – pots, pans, clothes, toys, linen, cushions, shoes etc. Filling large boxes with heavy items will make them awkward to move and carry.

Dimensions: 430 x 405 x 650 mm

Medium Box

For packing heavier items such as books, papers, records, CD’s, DVD’s. Crockery and glassware travel extremely well in this box. Wine bottles, pantry, bathroom and sink cupboard items, tools etc.

Dimensions: 430 x 315 x 317 mm

PORTA-ROBE

Portable Wardrobe, or “porta-robe”, is the “Best thing since sliced bread!” A great way to move your hanging clothes and protect them during transport. The Porta-Robe is a cost effective solution for transporting of clothes.

Dimensions: 500 x 600 x 990 mm

The below table is a guide for working out how many boxes you my need to pack your home up, remember to try and pack as much into boxes as possible to make for a smooth move day.

It’s best to be quoted on a larger amount of boxes and we can always reduce the cost of the move if you pack less boxes up to 4 days before your move.
